David Lalor

UK Sales Director

David has worked in the security and safety sector for over three decades, joining Keybury Fire and Security in 1983 and being appointed sales director in 1991. His industry-wide remit has since expanded extensively. He took over as sales director of Alert Innovation in 2014, a high profile role which incorporates the UK shopping centre security systems provider Shop Alert and the First Alert water utility company portfolio. David’s all-encompassing industry expertise makes him one of the UK’s most experienced specialists in his chosen field.

Frank Gee

Managing Director

Frank has a pedigree in the UK security industry stretching back more than 35 years. In 1982, he co-founded Keybury Fire and Security, which remains one of the north’s longest established independent fire and security companies. In 1994, Frank developed a business plan with Tony Lamb and together they set up Shop Alert, the UK shopping centre security systems provider, and expanded the company’s portfolio to encompass First Alert, the water utility protection system, bringing both counter-terror services under the Alert Innovation umbrella. Frank has been instrumental in forming partnerships with clients and manufacturers, taking ideas from concept through R&D to delivery of the product or service, continuing on to after sales support.

Tony Lamb

Innovation Director

Tony is also a high profile figure in the UK and European security industry, again with decades of hands-on experience in designing innovative solutions and products to protect sensitive infastructure. The terrorist incident in a Nairobi Shopping Mall several years ago prompted his return to the core business of Alert Innovation to oversee and develop further Apps for the Shop Alert system for protecting 'crowded places,' based on the NaCTSO guidelines. Key among them is the Firearm and Weapons Attack App, purpose-designed to complement the very successful Bomb Warning and Evacuation App.
